Not much lives here upon the snowy slopes. The trees are forwever frosted, and even the herd avoids this place. Only wolves and octaional snow leopards venture up here in search of food. Mouse keeps herself and Kafka safe by hiding out in a cavern the little calf discovered amidst the piles of endless snow. For entertainment, Mouse and Kafka often sneak down into the valley below the mountain to mingle with passing herds or steal from unwary travellers.
